The Country Inn at Camden Rockport

What a great place to stay! My husband and I stayed there in 2022 and returned in 2023. We just booked for 2024. The Inn is clean, spacious, quiet and provides a Maine vibe that is priceless. The staff are all very kind and pleasant. The breakfast is a great way to start the day…breakfast sandwiches, cereal, bagels and sorted breads. The coffee is always hot. We are so happy with this Inn!

Enjoyed our two-night stay at this gem in Camden. The rooms are more bed and breakfast style with the service and amenities of a more traditional motel. There was a seating area with a small fireplace and an outdoor patio/deck as well. All services were close and the town of Camden is also a gem. The pool and exercise room were nice and breakfast has lots of options. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Coffee available throughout the day and evening. This is a great place to stay and great value if you are in the area.

Everything was perfect! Two adults and our yellow lab came to visit the Camden/Rockport area and enjoyed every second of it. Our King Cottage Pet Friendly room was large, clean, and well appointed. The grounds were perfect, with lots of green space, a fantastic outdoor patio that allowed our pup to join us for breakfast, and a very cozy looking fire pit with surrounding Adirondack chairs to enjoy in the evenings. We had ice cream from the business next door. And everything we wanted to see and do was just minutes away. We're already looking forward to our return visit!

We were very surprised when we got here how nice is was. Everything very clean and well taken care of. Our room had a lot of space and everything we needed. Service was very friendly and we liked that they have a limited store for a few snacks. They're pretty strict with minimum age in the hot tub which had out kids pretty disappointed but the nice pool kept them busy. We'd definitely stay here again.

My family of 5 stayed in a cottage for 2 days. Clean and cozy cottage. Service from the people running the inn was top notch. Amazing homemade breakfast options. Cute lobby with fun souvenirs for sale. Small cooler with an assortment of drinks available. The dining room has been updated and yet old books and games around make it feel homey. Fire pit with Adirondack chairs around is nice on the cool nights. Loved this place!!! Will definitely be back.

I have been staying at The Country Inn for many years. Five years ago, I gave the Inn a 5 out of 5 rating but I have to change my rating. I just returned from a 4 night stay and I was very disappointed in the changes. The warmth and personal attention that we used to see is missing. It felt more like a chain hotel than an inn. Our beds were not made and there was no housekeeping services other than the trash being removed and towels replaced. We were told that we had to request “full housekeeping” to get our bed made or our bathroom cleaned. We did request full service but making a bed and cleaning a bathroom should be automatic. During our stay, there was a sign on the elevator that it was unavailable. However, I saw the staff using the elevator multiple times. It was not broken but it couldn’t be used by guests who had to carry their luggage up and down the stairs.
